when I get to that point I am going to just use any headlights to get by, then likely swap them back out after inspection.

That is my thought. I have to find a cheap set of DOT for that. I am hoping to be ready to start the process in the beginning of March.

A bit more progress....Garage Door insulated, LED Shop lights installed and video 16 complete.

I have to say it was a lot tougher then I thought it was going to be to pull the hoses. My friend and I struggled with just finding an bolt / socket small but large enough for the zip ties to keep hold. The end result was an 5/8 socket and a couple zip ties. I used two hose clamps that were pretty close together to get the zip ties tighter. After that finally tool hold we used two pipes to keep a grip on the rope.
A pneumatic rivet gun would have also helped.

Hoping to knock out the next video sometime this week. I'll be installing an heater in the garage this weekend .

Looks good! We are dead even on build progress, but you’ll most likely pass me since I’m waiting on items back from the powder coater like the EPS bracket in Video 17. Also, I’m just plain slow.

Made some progress this week. Got a little caught up on the clutch petal. I'm not positive how it's all going to go together. Does anyone have some pictures of how much they cut off the side to make it clear the steering? And how the clutch hardware is installed? I know I've seen it somewhere but I couldn't find it.

Before trimming you should bolt up your clutch pedal assembly and bend it away from the steering shaft to gain some clearance.
Push the top away from you with one hand while pulling the pedal toward you. Check to make sure you still have plenty of room for your foot to press the pedal. If it all looks good use a rotary file to trim a little at a time on the brake pedal until it clears the shaft.

Also if you plan to run the hood, you will need to trim the top of the clutch pedal off to clear the hood along with finding a new switch mount. See our original build for pictures and how we did it.

Had some time tonight. I started putting the harness in. Forgive the uglyness of the harness I want to tape it up after the engine starts .

But. Anyone know if this brake petal (top sensor) should have two plugs?

Fyi. This is an 07 year so hopefully someone can chime in.

No it does not. Mine is also 07 SS/SC. The foam on the back of the booster is not needed either.

Thanks, do you happen to remember what radiator hose you used for the drivers side? (Top to bottom). I have these and I used 70846 for the passenger. I looks like 70989 goes at the top but do I cut up the longer one to make the final connection?

Outside of that. I am missing the two heat exchanger tubes and the mounting bracket for the exchanger itself. Can't find them in any of the boxes.

Next up is the gas tank install. But I stopped for the night.

So. I am about to be on the first start video. But at this point I cannot get the dash lights to come on when I turn the key.

I've checked the grounds with meter and as far as I can tell they are good. The only one that is not completely secure is the transmission and I tried it a couple places. I've got power to the fuse box and the starter.

My battery has enough to turn the motor over because I jumped the starter to make sure it wasn't that.

Any ideas? I figure at this point my dash lights should at least be on...

Well. With the help of Karter I rigged up some extra grounds. A few jumper cables later it turns over. I skipped a few steps though along the videos so I need to go back and finish some things up.

I remember someone here mentioning running a ground between all the harness grounds. I think I'm going to do that before I tape it the rest of the way up...I think my main issue was the ground to the motor mount/ frame in the back.
