Off Season Plans?

As the season for us northern folks draws to a close, what do you all have planned for your cars? I know the southern guys are gearing up for the "cool" season to drive their cars. Myself, plan on redoing the side panels. The wrap I did is getting beat up from stone chips. Maybe some other odds and ends.

Similar goals for me:
- 62# injectors and 2.8" pulley, then tune
- Power distribution box for 12V power for add-in circuits like USB power, data logger, etc
- New clutch and flywheel
- Vinyl wrap the hood maybe?

Pull my engine (again) and do a timing chain job. May clean and paint the engine also. Also planning to pull my harness and remove ALL the crimping solder connectors.

Install my go fast table (even though I am a southerner)

Im still hopeful of an engine install before it gets too cold, but refuse to put it in without the LSD in the transmission. Its a long shot, but there's a chance. As far as winter? It gets covered well and rests in the carport, no garage for this ride.

Make my car faster than @SmsDetroit 's /s

But really... Its the winter of making form over function. I'm going to be doing a lot of CNC related projects to tidy up the interior and exterior of the car
  • Fiberglass side pods housing DRZ400 radiators as heat exchangers for the supercharger
  • Maybe a smaller pulley if the radiators work well
  • Front splitter
  • Single piece dash with keyed glovebox
  • Tidy up all the wiring I can
  • Custom wing uprights for NRG 69" wing (so I can turn it right way round lol)
  • New rear tires to put down the powa
There's more I'm forgetting, but that's the main stuff. If any of the CNC stuff (splitter, dash, side pods, wing uprights) interests any of the Michigan guys, follow my build thread. I will probably be able to make multiples if interested.

I've been tossing this around for a couple years. The hot pink powder coat on my frame is fading bad because it sees a ton of sun when I drive it to work every summer day. Side note, hot pink is not UV resistant.

I think I might tear down the whole thing and have it coated a different color. Has anyone done it? I feel like teardown is about 8-12 hours, but I'm sure it's 2-3x that going back together.

I think worst part is draining coolant, draining brakes, removing coolant hoses?!?!? is that possible? or can they withstand the oven??

@Dsteinhorst: Need an opportunity to make some welding frame modifications? Coolant line weld on barbs / AN connectors, or a harness bar? If you change the frame color, you can make changes.
