If you fing the right vehicle for you, there should be no question about driving/flying ANY distance to view it/drive it/ buy it. Anything else is just lookilu time and making an excuse to not write the check. Being a Goblin builder/owner takes commitment and an understanding that having one is like marrying a supermodel - lots of hidden costs, lots of upkeep, lots of upgrades, lots of attention, and expensive in the long run.

Not my experience at all. This car has needed less maintenance than my Honda civic, and fuel is cheaper than my truck. It's been incredibly cheap to own once it was finished being built

My bad how my comments came across - it was in jest and not meant to downplay your Goblin sale. Cobalts have proven to be excellent in reliability and this carries over in their evolution to a Goblin.

But for some (many) of us you can never be done upgrading a Goblin or want more HP - it's like a bad addiction. And like marrying a supermodel the car will get attention everywhere it goes! And that extra set of rims and tires for autoX and different rate springs for suspension tuning and double adjustable shocks just because Justin has them and...the list goes on and on. Unless you just want to drive it as built because it's just so much dang fun! :D

- How did you hole in the chassis happen?

- Did the coolant hose get cut and that is why it was leaking?

Hey David. I talk about it a bit in my build log. Drilled in the wrong spot when I went to install the side panels. Yes the coolant hose was cut. Has had no issues holding pressure or maintaining temps since being patched 2 years ago.

David
How tall are you? I can't recall when the standard chassis started to be made which is the same as the extended version I believe.

still have her ? If so , when is your deadline you need to get it sold by ? ( as i see your being relocated ) I am in process of selling my house , and am definitely taking some of my profit to get a turn key rig . very nice work you did . This is the kind of build im looking for , and im not too far away being just north of Detroit . Do you think if the seat was moved back id be able to drive it being im 6'1" ? Again , props on the build man , i build cars for a living , and i can tell you took the time to do this build the right way .
