Does the V1 kit come with an engine & transmission?

No, the Goblin V1 kit does not include an engine or transmission. The engine and transmission are removed from your donor vehicle, which must be a Chevrolet Cobalt or Pontiac G5. Each builder purchases and strips their own donor to supply the powertrain and other necessary components.
This approach is common in the kit car world. Including the engine, transmission, wiring, computers, and other donor components in the kit would significantly increase the cost, so using a donor car keeps the overall build more affordable.
