How does the kit process work?

How does the kit process work? In short, you buy a donor car, buy a kit, and build your Goblin. Here is the full process step by step:
- Obtain a donor car. Most builders purchase a donor from a salvage auction to save some money but you can also purchase a donor from Facebook Marketplace or local ads.
- Order your Goblin kit. The easiest way to order is on our website at. Make sure the kit you order matches your donor model and trim level.
- Strip your donor. Remove the parts needed for the build. You can reference the detailed donor parts lists here: Goblin V1 and Goblin V2
- Pick up or receive your Goblin kit. Many builders take a road trip to pick up the kit. If shipping is required, we can ship by freight.
- Build your Goblin. Combine the parts harvested from your donor with the components in the kit.
- Register your Goblin with your state. Requirements vary by state, but you will generally need proof of ownership for both the donor and the kit, and you must pass an inspection.
The process is designed to be approachable for first-time builders using basic tools, patience, and attention to detail.
