Shipping in stages vs. all at once

When it comes to shipping your Goblin kit, you can choose to have everything delivered at once or shipped in stages. Both options work well, and the best choice depends on your build space and how you want to approach the project.

Shipping the whole kit together is typically the most cost-efficient option. All major components arrive on a single freight shipment, which means you only coordinate one delivery and avoid multiple freight charges.

Shipping in stages gives you more flexibility.

  • Stage 1 ships by freight and includes the chassis and the parts needed to mount the donor engine and reach first startup.
  • Stage 2 usually ships later by parcel carrier and includes the suspension, steering, brakes, and other pieces required to get the car driving.
  • Stage 3 ships when you are ready and includes body panels, seats, lighting, and optional accessories.

A helpful tip: If you know you want large body parts such as the hood or side panels, it is best to ship them with Stage 1. These items are large enough that they require freight shipping, so including them with Stage 1 can help avoid paying a separate freight charge later.

Some builders prefer staged shipping because it reduces storage needs and allows them to focus only on the components needed for the current step. Others prefer to ship everything at once and have all parts available from the beginning.

There is no right or wrong choice. If cost efficiency is a priority, shipping everything together is the simplest option. If you prefer a paced build with less space required up front, staged shipping is a great fit.
