There should be one in your kit.

Almost doesn't fit on top of the engine in the DF 'stock' location. Will have more heat mass tolerance (more throttle time :p) - as long as you have the heat exchanger capacity to pull the heat out of the intercooler. BTW, the 2 inch outlet from the turbo could be better off with a 2.5 inch pipe in place of the 2 inch pipe you have in the photo. The step up in size will help reduce turbo outlet 'resistive' pressure and increase the air volume flow into the 3 inch intercooler. The outlet from the turbo should be 2.75 inches to match pipe size to the throttle body inlet size - which is 2.75 inches. But will this clear the edge of the gas tank?

This is the plan for my charge pipe setup - 2.0 (turbo outlet) to 2.5 (charge pipe precooler into intercooler) to 3.0 (intercooler) to 2.75 (charge pipe/MAP pipe to throttle body inlet). My intercooler will be mounted above the transmission, not on top of the engine, and the 2.75 inch charge pipe will not have the 180 degree turn, only a 90 degree, as it will come in from the side next to the gas tank. And dual intercooler heat exchangers with fans.

I hear what you're saying DS, about a 2-2.5" coupler off of the turbo and then 2.5" piping into a 2.5-3" coupler going into the intercooler. Problem with that is, I'm going to have to go over top of that cross bar because that 2" 45* coupler off of the turbo is slightly squished as it is. I'll play with configurations once its on the road and moving.
It's not a road race car, so I don't think removing heat will be a problem with how much liquid is being pumped through the long system we have on these cars and the H.E. fan constantly running.
I have the post-intercooler piping ready, waiting on one 90* coupler that goes from 3-2.75" for the MAP sensor pipe.

Basically, for now, it'll all work out. :)

Got into HPTuner Scanner today and loaded the layout and channels that were provided as well as took a look around to see what some of the menus say. A bit overwhelming in all honesty, but I'm sure some of it will make sense soon enough.

Final couplers came in the mail and now Ill be able to complete the intercooler plumbing and just stabilize the intercooler on some pine for now until I get some packages from DF.

Not a bad Idea. How do I share one on here? I'm 99% on my phone while on the forums, so a desktop dfkc post is foreign. Does it work like sharing a photo?

People are always complaining about not having enough goblin content on YouTube. Here is something to nibble on.

I see no reason why Stage1 can't be 100% completed on Saturday and Stage 2 be started. I aready have the control arms assembled.

Sooo... DF's intercooler is MIP fittings and my intercooler is NPT fittings. *sigh
Whelp, back to the store...again.
Home depot carries a PEX 1/2"NPT x 3/4"barb

Do we provide the cap and screw top or is there a coolant bottle for the intercooler fill?

I’ve never had any trouble mixing and matching them at automotive pressures as long as enough Teflon tape is used. You really have to look and measure closely to even tell which is which on the female side.
