Glad I was reading this. I was assembling mine in my bedroom today.

Are these the rack limiters?
They were packaged with the rear clovers but don’t have a label on the bag and aren’t shown in the pictures for the rear coil over install.

Is CPE hose compatible with brake fluid? Im finding mixed answers online.
I don’t have enough nylon tubing for the clutch master cylinder. I do have some leftover fuel line that will get me there.

I bought 6' of PTFE from tractor supply for my reservoir lines. I think it was $15. Also using the same stuff for fuel lines

When in doubt with brake fluid, don't. Even without the safety issue since it's not brake related, it makes too much of a mess if it does leak.

A lot of times when fluid compatibility issues for hoses show up, it means that there is a difference in quality of hose and you would want to confirm compatibility with the manufacturer. Which means no bargain basement lines from Amazon.

I agree PTFE is a better choice.

I have CPE on my fuel lines but after a bit of research, I'm second guessing my choice in fuel line. I may replace it with the Tygon fuel lines from this site when I order brake lines.

yes I use the brake hose on my bikes. They have remote reservoirs (clutch and brake) so it’s easy to cut and splice in as needed. I have used kurvygirl over the years for a lot of my bike stuff.

If you are using fuel line for pressure, make sure it’s rated over 60psi for your system. I used gates part# 4219bf

Is having the shifter cables this close to the exhaust going to be an issue?
I may get some kind of heat shield to wrap around them.

Perfect! I’ve seen other build logs and their cables are nowhere close to the exhaust as mine. @Rttoys was one picture I found. I think my cable mount in the rear is a bit different from other F35 mounts I’ve seen

Got a lot done the past few days;

Rear suspension on the drivers side is installed, waiting on a CV boot to get the passenger side put together.

Steering wheel was set straight and boost gauge installed. Mirrors got wired and look great with the smoked lenses.

The floor mats are glued down, need to grab some Velcro for the driver and passenger side so they are easily replaceable. Shifter is installed and hooked up, I love the look of the billet shifter. I cannot WAIT to try it out other than moving it back and forth in the garage. Parking brake was temporarily in place to get the tubes and cables installed. I ended up taking the 2nd bend from the lever side almost completely out and attached it to the radiator mounts up front. The cables run just outside of the front subframe bolts and I’ll attach to the subframe where I’m holding it. I wasn’t able to find many photos on the forum of how other ran them but it seems to function so . It doesn’t look great but will be blocked by the wheels.

I’m really starting to dive into getting wheels and tires picked out. What’s everyone’s opinions on acceptable tires for the street? I have aspirations of trying auto cross but right now Im just worried about backroad cruising. The tire choices and list on the forum is overwhelming! I’ve come to the conclusion that 200tw is the max and to refrain from going too wide. 17x9 is a wheel size I’m looking for and looking to go about 245-255 / 40 on the tire.

I'm running 18x8.5 and 245 Falken Azenis RT615K+ on all four corners. After reading some other build logs, I bailed on my R888R 295/245 staggered idea, saving about $450 on tires and another $500 on wheels.

As long as it's not cold out, I can launch and hit all my shifts with no traction loss at 23psi. I don't autocross, just spirited street driving. My Mustang has 295/265 and tramlines pretty bad on some of the roads by me. I'm glad I don't have to deal with that in the Goblin.
