The DF rear transmission mount will spread the load over 3 bolts, so you should be good, even with one damaged bolt hole.

It's always something...
How important would you say the transmission mount is?
Isn't that already clipped in? That little part hanging out is so you can grab it. If its not snapping in and holding, you might need a new clip. Its a problem I had on my build.Any tips on why I can't get this retaining clip back in? I'm quickly running out of patience and it just won't snap in
You may have to bend/massage my clutch line on the chassis to get it to line up.It's brand new, I just can't get the prongs in the right spot or something. Should seat pretty flush
Are you putting that clip in the right way?
It looks like you are 90 degrees off. Don't put the clip in the cut slots, put it around them.

Pro tip
if that pops off while you are on the road. It is possible to drive home in 3rd gear. I got that t shirt.![]()
I did a little bit. I could somewhat go 2 to 3, but 3 to 4 was fairly easy. It wasn’t easy, due to the cables and such, I’m assuming. So I just started the car in 3rd ran that and 4th sometimes. I was on back roads about 7-10 miles out and 5 stops to make. If I remember right, I think I even took a longer route to avoid one stop. Why not row the gears clutchless? Start the car once with the clutch switch and starter to get you going and then you can clutchless shift no problem.![]()
For anyone installing/reinstalling the clutch elbow connector, make sure that the seal is on the clutch pipe before you install the elbow (just like you have pictured here). There is a risk that it doesn't seal, if the seal is in the clutch elbow when you seat it on the clutch pipe. On the clutch pipe, OK. In the clutch elbow, NOT OK. Also, double check there's not an extra seal inside the clutch elbow!
