V1 Towerdog's Indiana Street Goblin Build (#250) 07 SS/SC Donor

Thank you!! That last photo has convinced me to purchase something to cover the looms. Don't know if I'll go plastic like you did, or some sort of sleeve, but that looks SO much better than electrical tape!!
Thats the way it was from the factory.... although most of the factory loom had rotted off so to speak. I looked into this route also but the size range isnt as broad as the high temp loom. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/prf-70970

Not much to update. Sitting here twittling my thumbs waiting for my kit to arrive. It did go in the jig on Monday so its getting close... I fear it will arrive when I am out of state.

In my down time of waiting I think I have decided to put a valve in line (line lock) with the rear brakes in the tunnel to act as a parking brake. All the years I drove stick I don't remember ever using the parking brake. This would only be used when I didn't feel comfortable holding the car in gear.

It works up until the day you get a leak in the system. Then is will slowly release the parking brake, and your car is free. That is why the manufacturer doesn't recommend it as a parking brake. The main brake system gets a chance to be replenished with new fluid every time your release the brake pedal... but if is parked with the brakes on, it doesn't get that chance until after you return to the car. Not saying it won't work, it will, but only until the day when it gets a slow leak. Not if it gets a leak, but when it gets a leak.

One of these is easier to use versus a valve. Step on the brake pedal, push the switch and brake is locked. Step on the brake pedal and the line lock releases. I've used this on a Jeep, works great.

So Friday afternoon I pulled the trigger and ordered my wheels, Nobody had them in stock including the manufacture,,, So I figured if there was a month or two delay in them getting shipped I would still be in good shape. THEY ARRIVED TODAY!!

Nice, What size wheel did you get? Do you know how much they weigh? I can't that specification from the manufacturer.
Do you know what tire you are going to put on them?

Doesnt that hoop frame look so much cleaner w/o the stock seatbelt tube in it?

Buddies are showing up in a bit to help me get it out of the truck.... Then out comes the cutoff wheel and grinding disc!

Can anyone share how the hood mounts in the front? Pics?
I see there are quarter turn fasteners welded in up there but the hood is cut to miss them and there are holes drilled in the bottom of the hood like there is a mount plate that would go there but I have nothing of the kind....
