V1 Dre city Goblin build - 06 LS Donor

jennam
To clarify, the part pictured in the message from 12:47 on 8/22 is eliminated? Or is moved? On the stock car it is connected where the hard line connects on the goblin.
Correct, that piece is the original hydraulic line for the clutch. It is replaced by a stainless steel line in the goblin. You will need to keep the bleeder adapter from it to connect the new line to the transmission. You also need to keep the small o-rings off the stock line for use on the new steel line.

Thanks for the help all. I set the hard lines of to the side in the back of the garage. I found it and connected it. Everything seems to be connected now.

Plugged everything in and no start... i get "power steering" and a lock like in the photo. I also realized that i have this blue connector not connected.

Also what's weird is i turn the ignition key to acc and the instrument panels lights up but doesn't turn off

Don't know why the lights stay on (if someone can explain, that would be great), but tomorrow il try to create a better ground by removing some of the powdercoat. I saw mixed suggestions for the big ground cable... if i mount that ground cable to the frame... do i need to drill an extra hole?

More than likely it's because you don't have your light sensor hooked up. My lights are on all the time too. You can test it by rolling the headlight portion of your turn signal switch towards you. You should get a message in your driver information center saying something like Automatic Lights Off and then all of your lights should go off.

The single blue wire is for your parking brake.

Do you have all five big multi connectors in your fuse box? There is a white multi connector that is for your headlights, it had a ground wire that must be hooked up.

Does your fuel pump ever cycle when you turn on the key?

Does your throttle body's butterfly move when you press the accelerator pedal?

Does the instrument panel lights go off when you turn the key to the start position?

Im not at home right now, but i believe all are connected. When i turn the key, the pump doesn't prime and the butterfly doesn't move, just the power steering message and the lock symbol. Right now i have the donor info buttons and i can cycle through it. I saw engine temp and low fuel. When i turn the key to the off position, the instrument panel stays lit.

Ah. I failed to read the previous messages. I thought you were just having issues with your lights turning off. lol. Also, make sure your BCM power wire is plugged in. It's easy to forget. I got similar indications when I forgot mine.

I'll be home around 3:00 PM PST if anyone wants to help me with this. But i'll be checking the connections and trying the "unlock" procedure as soon as I get home.

I had the same power steering message when my ECM was locked up after a failed tune calibration upload. I believe it’s caused by a lack of communication between the ECM and BCM which obviously can be caused by many things such a loss of power to either, bad or missing grounds, etc. I know this doesn’t tell you exactly what is wrong but there could be many possibilities.
