Just a note for people trying to sell their parts, try Facebook Marketplace if you haven’t already. I had been trying to use craigslist only but still had some things I needed to get rid of. I posted my seats, rotors and Brembo brakes (all separate entries) from the donor and sold them all in the same day.
Give it a shot!

I posted all of my stuff on the Cobalt SS Parts group on Facebook and was able to sell all the parts I had pretty quickly.

Does this belong on the intake manifold or the turbo pipe between the IC and butterfly?

It looks like people are moving it and the pipe will hold it but what do I do about where it used to be and why are we moving it?

That one looks like it goes on your intake manifold. You should have something similar that goes in the throttle body pipe.

You don't need to mess with any vacuum hoses other than your brake booster.

Intake getting serious restriction from the fuel tank. Am I doing something wrong or is this normal?

I think DF might have previously trimmed that particular boot so that the throttle body end is a few inches shorter than the other end.

That "u" bend needs to be trimmed on both sides to leave just enough straight section to allow clamps.

On your donor intake tubing there should have been a MAP sensor and vacuum line near each other that will be switched over to our MAP tube.

There is a rubber donut thing that slips over. I almost lost mine too.

that's what i thought... sigh, ok. i'll work to find it or buy a new one. i'm starting to regret letting people 'help me' take it apart at times. Lol
